Biography: Rolling Stones is a British rock band founded in London in 1962 by multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones , pianist Ian Stewart , vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards and this band is completed with Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts. As early as in the history of the band Jagger and Richards formed a creative partnership, and gradually take over the leadership with the increasingly problematic and unstable Jones.

Initially, the Group was doing mainly the American blues and R & B songs, but since the consequences of the 1966 album, they concentrated on Jagger/Richards songs. Just before death of incapacitated John in 1969 Mick Taylor replaced him. After 5 years means in 1974 Taylor left the band and his place was taken by Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood, in 1975 and he has been there in the band from that day till now. Wyman left the Rolling Stones in 1992; bassist Daryl Jones, who is not an official band member, has been with the Group since 1994.

First popular in the United Kingdom and Europe, The Rolling Stones came to the United States in the 20th century, early 60s during "British invasion." The Rolling Stones have released 22 studio albums in the United Kingdom (24 in the U.S.), eight concert albums (nine in the United States) and numerous compilations; and has sold over two million records worldwide.

Their latest album, A Bigger Bang, released in 2005. In 1989, The Rolling Stones entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, they are ranked No. 4 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 greatest artists. The best solo creation of Mick Jagger came in October 2007 .
