Real name: Johnny Allen Hendrix

Biography: Jimi Hendrix was greatest guitarist, singer and songwriter born on November 27, 1942 and died on September 18, 1970.His native birthplace was in Seattle, Washington, USA, while his father was posted in an army base in Oklahoma. His name as Johnny Allen Hendrix was given by his mother. But lately his father James Allen "Al" Hendrix changed his name to James Marshall Hendrix in memory of his deceased brother, Leon Marshall Hendrix. He is widely considered the greatest guitarist in rock music in the history by other great musicians in the field. After initial success in Europe, he achieved fame in the United States in 1967 after the great performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.

In his brief rule of 4 years as a superstar, Jimi Hendrix expanded vocabulary electric rock guitar more than anyone before or after. He had a terrific potential creating new tunes from his guitar which was giving great pleasure to audiences or music lovers.
Hedrix along with a popular band Cream mainly responsible for popularizing the wah-wah pedal in mainstream Rock music. His talent was influenced by B. B. King, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Albert King, and Elmore James famous Blue artists of that era.


Hendrix won many of the most prestigious rock music awards in his lifetime, and he was given a place in US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.”Are you experienced” his debut Us album was placed in United States National Recording Registry in 2006 and Rolling stone named Hendrix as top guitarist in top 100 list of all great Guitarist of all time in 2003.
Every body should know that Hendrix was a left-handed guitar player like Paul McCartney.

Early on September 18, 1970, Jimi Hendrix died in London under mysterious condition ,nobody was clear the cause of his death ,he was last seen with his girl friend Monika in her flat .According to Monica Hendrix was unknown to her until that sad evening and that night he, had taken nine of her prescribed Vesperax sleeping pills and was alive while he was taken in Ambulance ,but her statements changed in every interview.
