Real name: Robert Nesta Marley

Biography: The great Jamaican Singer, composer, song writer Bob Marley was born in in the small village of Nine Mile in Saint Ann Parish on 6th February 1945.His father was white Naval officer Norval Sinclair Marley who was married to 18 years old Afro Jamaican Cedella Booker. Though his father was responsible for financial support of his family but he could not give time to his family for busy official schedule and trip ,when Marley was 10 his father died and after that he faced many difficulties in his life for mixed race .

Marley became friend with Bunny Wailer with whom he started playing music. When he was at the age of 14 he didn’t go to school any more for the cause of music ,he was making music that time with Joe Higgs. In 1962, He recorded his first two singles "Judge Not" and "One Cup of Coffee", with local music producer Leslie Kong.In 1963 Marley formed Ska and Rocksteady group with help of Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith. They were calling themselves "The Teenagers” which was finally named as "The Wailers In 1966 he married to Rita Anderson and they moved to Marley’s mother residence in US for little period

Marley and his band teamed up with Lee "Scratch" Perry and his studio band, The Upsetters. after a misunderstanding with Dodd. During 1968 to 72 Both Marley and his wife with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer tried to commercializing The Wailers' sound by re cutting old track with Jad Records. “Catch a fire” Wailer’s first first album was released on 1973 and performed well world wide. After a year Burnin' was released which included the songs "Get Up, Stand Up" and "I Shot The Sheriff".

Marley remains the most widely known and respected performer of reggae music, and he was doing everything for the growth of Jamaican music and Rastafari movement.
He was famous for some of greatest hits like "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Exodus", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love". He died on May 11 ,1981 and after 3 years on 1984 his compilation album Legend released. which performed very well with sales of more than 20 million copies.

Real name: Ray Charles Robinson

Biography:: Ray Charles was born on September 23, 1930 in Albany, Georgia. His father, Bailey Robinson was a railroad Repair Man and his mother, Aretha, stacked boards in a sawmill. The sad fact about Ray was he was blind but not in born blind but he lost his sight at the age of five. According to some source Ray lost his eye sight due to soapy water infection in his eye which was left untreated. He studied at Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and there he developed the God gifted quality of music ,when he was 10 he lost his father and after 5 years his mother passed away.

In school Charles learned only classical music but he wanted to learn jazz, blues like music and he didn’t go to schools after his mother passed away .He lived in Jacksonville with his mother’s friends and with in a year he learned the skill of playing piano and played the piano for bands at the Ritz Theatre in LaVilla, Charles always wanted a band of his own and for this he moved to Seattle in 1947 and his first recording was for the brand Swing Time Records, achieving his first hit with the 1949 "Confession Blues". The song acquired no 2 position in R&B charts. From then he never looked back and gained huge success.

He brings a soulful sound to country music and pop standards through his modern sound recording techniques. He also appeared in the popular 1980 film, Blues Brothers. Frank Sinatra called him "the only real genius in the Enterprise” In 2004 Rolling stone Magazine selected Charles as 10th best Artist in its 100 all time lists and voted no 2 by them in 2008 list of The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.


Charles was married twice and he had 12 children by 9 different wives. His first marriage to Eileen Williams was for very short period from July 31, 1951 to 1952. He had three children from his second wife Della Beatrice Howard Robinson from April 5, 1955 to 1977. His long term relation till death was Norma Pinella. He died on June 10, 2004.

Real name: Charles Edward Berry

Biography: Chuk Berry is an famous American guitarist, singer and lyrics writer . born in October 18, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri. Chuck Berry is an influential figure in one of the pioneers of super rock and roll music. According to the website of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Chuck Berry is the closest of any single figure who was one of the basic elements of all the pieces together.

A bright student, Barry developed a love of poetry and hard blues early, won the high school talent contest, guitar and vocal performances in Jay McShann's big band number, "Confessin 'blue." He soon discovered that black audiences liked a variety of music, has set itself the task to reproduce it.

Berry was one of the first rock musicians to enter the Hall of Fame opened in 1986. He received Kennedy Center Honors in 2000 in a "class" of Mikhail Baryshnikov, Placido Domingo, Angela Lansbury, and Clint Eastbourne Wood. In 2004, He was awarded 5th position by Rolling Stone in The list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.

Berry continued to play 70 to 100 solo performance in every music night in 80s. In 1986, Taylor Hackford made a documentary movie , Hail! Hail! Rock, a concert celebration of Berry's 60th birthday. Keith Richards was leading the music . Eric Clapton, Etta James, Julian Lennon, Robert Cray and Linda Ronstadt, among others, appeared with Berry on stage and film. In concert, Berry played a Gibson resolution ES - 355, deluxe version of the first ES - 335, which he liked in his 70s tour.

Currently Berry has limited himself on performing only one Wednesday in a month in Blueberry Hill restaurant and bar located in the Delmar. He is presently living in Wentzville, Missouri, about 30 miles west of St. Louis.

Biography: Little Richard a famous Pianist, song writer born on December 5, 1932 in Logtown Road in Yatesville, Georgia. He grew up in a religious family , in spite of poverty, racism, it was the singing made him close to GOD. His family was having a singing group called Penniman Singers who were performing in local churches and singing contests with other singing groups. His family was calling Little Richard as “War Hawks” for his loud and screaming voice. Esquerita (Eskew Reeder Jr.) was Richard’s influence in his early musical career ,he taught him the art of playing piano in high notes without compromising with the bass.


Richard is considered an important figure in the transition of Rhythm and blues to rock and Roll in 1950s.he became famous for his series of hits like "Tutti Frutti", "Lucille" and "Long Tall Sally”, during 1955 to 1957 which helped to lay the foundation for rock and roll music. Little Richard early days of career was a mix of boogie-woogie, rhythm & blues and gospel music, and funky saxophone grooves and raspy shouted vocals.
In 1957 when he was in peak of his career he became a born-again Christian, to participate in and attend the Bible College, withdrew from recording and performing secular music.

Little Richard has won wide acclaim from many performances and James Brown treated Little Richard as his idol. Dick Clark termed his music as Role model for every Rock and Roll performer of 50s. Rolling Stone chose him as 8th greatest artist of all time. He has been a magnificent performer and constant entertaining appearances on television talk shows which was ensuring his continuing success as a living legend.

Biography: Jimi Hendrix was greatest guitarist, singer and songwriter born on November 27, 1942 and died on September 18, 1970.His native birthplace was in Seattle, Washington, USA, while his father was posted in an army base in Oklahoma. Name: Buddy Holly

Real name: Charles Hardin Holley

Biography: Charles Hardin Holley a legend of rock n roll and a famous song writer was born on September 7, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas. He was belonging to a musical family so at a young age he learned playing Piano, guitar, and fiddle. His parents were calling him Buddy .His first known recording was of Hank Snow's "My Two Timin' Woman" on a wire recorder .He teamed up with his friend Bob Montgomery and made a group named as "Buddy and Bob" and they sang duets at local clubs and high school talent shows influenced by blue grass music. His musical interest boosted in his school life.

Holly was inspired by Elvis Presley’s live performance and he turned to Rock music on early 1955. Holly continues to transition to the rock when he began to Bill Haley and his comets at a local rock show organized by Eddie Crandall who was earlier manager of Marty Robbins. Decca Records signed him to a contract after this great performance and during this contract his last name was misspelled to “Holly” from “Holley” and he also adopted his misspelled last name for ever .

Holly formed a nameless band which lately named as “The Crickets”. On January 22, 1957,Decca refused to renew the contract with Holly but made an agreement that for 5 years he can’t sing the same songs . While Elvis made black music more acceptable to whites, Holly won the all-black audience, the crickets were scheduled for the Apollo Theater in New York for August 16-22 , 1956.

Holly married to Maria Elena Santiago who was a receptionist .Holly was offered a
Winter Dance Party by the GAC agency and it was a three week tour. With other great performers such as Dion and the Belmonts, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson. Holly had to attend another show on 2nd Feb 1959 the next day of the Riverside Ballroom,2nd feb show was not scheduled but it added lately and to go there Holly had to go with other friends with the chartered plane which crashed due to bad weather within minute of departure which killed holly and other board members. Don McLean referred to the sad day as "The Day the Music Died". Holly's pregnant wife became a widow after six months of marriage and she miscarried and never attended the funeral as well as visited the grave yard and she gave the reason as sorrowness and blamed herself for the accident as she was not with Holly.

For every past leader, who played some significant role in one or another sphere, holidays are declared. Declaring holidays has also become a political issue. Some of the holidays are of national significance, so can’t be done away with, but we should consider to avoid unnecessary holidays. We wish to pay true homage to those great leaders, who worked hard for our social and economic well being, in memory or reverence of them, holidays have been declared. Is it proper to enjoy holidays in reverence of those, who worked days and night to make this country, progressive, prosperous and peaceful? Paying respect and homage should not be associated with declaring holidays.



As far as upholding the noble morals preached by these great leaders, this can be well done in far better ways than declaring holidays, hampering work, causing wastage of time and lot of unavoidable harassment to those innocent people, who suffer because of such holidays.

We must realize that a closure of even a day, causes a huge loss to the exchequer, slows the pace of progress in this fast competitive world. In a country facing many acute problems like population explosion, poverty, water scarcity energy shortage, unemployment, and many more, closure of offices for more than 50% of days in a year, simply means retarding the pace of progress and delay in solving the problems faced by our own people. It is to be realized that we are responsible for shaping our destiny although the choice between comfort and hard work is really tough one.

Speech is regarded as a great blessing to human being as animals have no power to talk. But speech can also be a great curse for, while it helps us to make our intentions and desires known to our fellows, it can also, if we use it carelessly, make our attitude completely misunderstood.

A slip of tongue, the use of an unusual word or an ambiguous word, may create an enemy where we had hoped to win a friend.

Well The Lord of the Rings film trilogy consists of three live action fantasy epic films: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002) and Return of the King (2003).
This movie took around 8 years to complete and this was shoot at Newzeland home state of director Peter JAckson.
You can anticipate how the movie was made from its long making process.
The Lord of the Rings is an epic high fantasy novel written by the English philologist J. R. R. Tolkien.
This film 's main story is fight between evil and good ,it is the fight between Evil lord Sauron, and the human beings,and other humanoid races (Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves),Sauron was leading another race te dangerous evil orcs.
the Dark Lord Sauron, who had in an earlier age created the One Ring that rules the other Rings of Power, as the ultimate weapon in his campaign to conquer and rule all of Middle-earth.
But as the ring was lost during the war process earlier and it was possessed by hobbits ,SAuron marshaled all weapons and army to get back the ring and the ring was also eager to go back to its master.
The ring was given to Frodo by GAndolf to destroy so that no body mainly evil lord Sauran can't misutilise ring's power.
Frodo takes his loyal gardener Samwise "Sam" Gamgee, and two cousins Merry and Pippin to help him. On their dangerous journey, they run into many difficulties and are pursued by the Ring wraiths. Various characters give aid along the way, including guidance from a disguised Aragorn, Isildur's heir and rightful king of Gondor. At Weathertop, Frodo is wounded by the Ringwraiths but eventually the company defeat them at the Ford of Bruinen, aided by Elrond master of Rivendell.
During the journey as expected frodo faced many death like dangers and escaped from it with help of sam his friend and other aids,
Actually this movie has so many excitements it can't be written in words ,it can only be enjoyed by visualization .
After TRoy this movie probably has a great war scene and full of war tactics the way aragon and elves fighting with orcs and the army of Gondor really mind blowing.
One can't leave his seat while watching this movie.
You all should watch this movie to know the final climax whether The evil lord is able to get back his lost ring or froddo able to destroy with help of his aids.

Hi Dear readers i'm here with another review of Hindi blockbuster of all time ,the movie is SHOLAY, this is the greatest ever movie made in BOLLYWOOD, many directors, producers tried to make a movie like Sholay but failed miserably,1 year before famous director Ramgopal verma took the risk of making Sholay remake by taking the superstar of Sholay BIGB Amitabh but it miserably flopped in boxoffice.

This is a story of revenge between an honest police officer and Thakur Sanjeev Kumar and The Gabbar Singh - an infamous dacoit (bandit)(played by Amzad Khan).
As no police officers able to catch GAbbar and thakur succeeded so gabbar promised to take revenge and he succeeded in his promise and brutally murdered all family members of thakur,even he ruthlessly amputated both his arms,and left him alive..After that THakur took a oath to kill Gabbar and in this process he took help of two criminals, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai (Amitabh Bachchan),who were very intimate friends and can give life for each other.Many ups and downs you can see in the film i the process of mutual revenge,every moment of this movie is sensational ,you can't miss a single moment ..so was Thakur able to take revenge against the mighty GAbbar and his hundreds of men with two criminals joy and veeru.Pl watch this movie to know it,i can guarantee you will get your money back .

The striking saying is true in our everyday life.It means that a timely action saves a lot of trouble.It is indeed a highly significant metaphor.If a rent in piece of cloth is neglected-it gets wider,bigger an extends rapidly.
